Okay, so once again I've neglected my blog for months on end. But as usual, here's what's been happening, in a nut shell:
> The husband started attending college. He's currently at a community college in Lexington but will be transferring to the University of Kentucky in the Fall.
> Christmas 2010 was extremely fun (just as Christmas always is). Like usual, we were a bit stressed out from all the shopping but in the end, we had memorable/enjoyable family time which made it all worth it.
> Thanksgiving and New Years were the same in regards to the fun part, not so much the stressful part. We actually spent the night in Lexington for New Year's Eve which was a blast.
> December/January time frame was also stressful on a whole other level because we were dealing with getting him enrolled in school, applying for financial aid, and getting everything straightened out with the VA for his GI Bill. All of that stuff seriously put us in major stressed out mode.
> At this current time, he's been in school for almost two months and is liking it so far.
> We're working on doing a Spring makeover to our little home. We bought a brand new Vaughn bedroom suite, DVD organizer stand, and comforter set. So far it's looking great. Still have more to come.
