| Chapter XXV |

(The reason that later in this post I talk about Easter is because the date today is really April 15 but I had half of this post saved as a draft since apparently March 25th).
Well...quite a lot of stuff has been happened since December 17, 2009, but what's new?

Apparently that seems to be my ongoing theme-the fact that 'a lot has happened' each time I update my blog.

In a nutshell, the following are all the things that has happened since then.

* Christmas was absolutely wonderful. Of course, as usual, I miss my folks 10 times more during the holidays but it was great, once again, to spend time with my other family, the ones who are here. Not that gifts should be the central point of Christmas but my amazing husband did an excellent job getting me 7 absolutely awesome gifts! Oh how he knows me so well. He could have given me nothing (and this is the truth) and I would have been just as happy. I am truly content with just being able to spend time with him not just during the holidays but every day of year.

* New Year's Eve was a total blast, to say the least. On a random note we met up with our friends from SC, my wonderful Heather (aka Cheeky) and David in Knoxville, TN and spent the night there. I hadn't seen her in 6 months at the time and it was just too great to be able to hang out even if it was only for a night. Hopefully it'll be sooner than 6 months the next time I see her but then again it's been almost 4 now... :-(

* Valentine's Day was sweet and romantic. My husband made a special dinner for us and it was absolutely delicious! A bonus to all this sweetness was the phenomenal gift he gave me....a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol. She is a beauty for sure as you can see...

* We visited Kansas City at the end of February for a whole week and had such a great time. It was so good seeing my sister and her family as well as friends whom I hadn't seen anywhere from 2-5 years. Yikes! :) Except for Kristy, he hadn't met any of my other friends so it was nice to introduce him to them as well.

*At the end of March, I went with my sis in law, mother in law, 2 other bridesmaids, and the maid of honor to Lexington where we shopped for our dresses as well as hers. Our dresses were beautiful and simple. And the plus side is, I can definitely see myself wearing it again as a date night dress or something. Her dress was absolutely breathtaking! Can't wait until her big day! I have always enjoyed being in bridal stores so much. I remember I used to tag along with friends who were getting married and try on dresses...and I didn't even have a boyfriend! :-)

*Easter was fun. We went to church as usual and then had Easter lunch over at his grandparents. Randy cooked the entire meal and it was absolutely scrumptious (as all his cooking is!).

*We went to my sister in law's birthday party this past Saturday and had a great time.

Well, I think that brings us about up to date and in the present day.
