I just realized tonight that I had not been on here since March...wow.
Once again, a lot has changed, which, honestly, is pretty much expected since it's been about 9 months.
We wrapped up our stay in Beaufort and officially departed in the last week of June.
Below were the main events between March and June:
* A trip to Jacksonville, FL with my cheeky (Heather) and David. We had a great time at the Jacksonville Zoo and a delicious dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, which I have missed so much since Kansas City.
*Our 1 year Anniversary which we spent going to dinner at Outback. Our waitress was so sweet and thoughtful and brought was a free dessert.
*My 25th birthday, which, once again, we spent going to dinner at Outback. I had Outback twice in a row for my birthday and that was just fine with me because they give out great (free) birthday desserts! :) Also for anniversaries :)
*We drove back to Somerset for his sister Brittany's high school graduation. Went camping the night before her graduation and had a blast!
*We went to Keith's Place for Randy's going away and had a great time.
*A few days before we had to leave we drove to meet up/pick up his mom, step dad, and sister at the border of North and South Carolina. They came down to help with the final clean up of our house and also with the move. It was definitely helpful!
Needless to say, leaving Beaufort was definitely an emotional experience because I was leaving behind my friends, which, among them was my dearest friend Heather (cheeky). We did have our last movie date where we went to watch The Proposal (which is hilarious!). We said our goodbyes afterwards. I miss her soooo much! :-(
It was also emotional because that was where we met, had our first place together, and spent a lot of happy, exciting, yet sometimes even sad days. Beaufort, SC (even without a mall and most of the times, pretty boring) will always be in my heart.
The drive to Somerset was long, exhausting, and simply irritating because the weather was a billion degrees and we all were working on little to no sleep. We had also been cleaning our hearts out in the past 2 days.
We made it into Somerset safe and sound. We stayed for about a month at his grandparents and had a wonderful time. They are just so sweet and I absolutely love them!
During that time we were place hunting and we finally lucked out with the cutest 1 bedroom apartment with such a crazy deal on rent that we just couldn't refuse. I was skeptical at first due to that fact but the apartment checked out fine. It was clean and perfectly set up and I fell in love with it from the get go. Plus, all the money we were going to be saving was exciting me way too much. It was also just 5 minutes from his grandparents which was perfect! We officially moved in on August 4th.
Since then:
* We have been spending time with all his family and it's just awesome!
* We started attending Parkers Mill Road Baptist Church with his dad and family and we love it there.
* Had a wonderful Halloween, although no trick or treaters came by. Whatever though, more candy for us! :)
* Went to the Chicken Festival in London, KY which is about 30 minutes away and had so much fun!
* His grandpa had a mild stroke the Sunday before Thanksgiving so we spent a few nights at the hospital. He is doing a lot better now, though, and I am so thankful to God for hearing our prayers.
* Had Thanksgiving dinner at 3 different places and they were all so yummy. Definitely not good for my weight but worth it :)
* The first snow of the season was beautiful, albeit a light one but I definitely enjoyed it nonetheless. I have missed snow soooo much and cannot wait until it snows again and this time, hopefully a lot heavier.
* Been Christmas shopping in the past week and have about 1/2 of our shopping done. We have been trying to avoid Wal Mart as best as we can but I know we will have to eventually go there and fight the crazy Christmas traffic.
* I still have yet to buy his gift but I'll get to that soon.
He recently got a new job and works in Lexington and sets his own hours. We are going this Friday to pick up his paycheck. I'm hoping to do some shopping while I'm there. For others as well as, hopefully, for myself :)
Well, I'm counting down the days until Christmas and it looks like there is 8!
Till next time...take sweet care and enjoy the holidays!

| Chapter XXII |
So...it's late at night here but I've been up doing some homework. Well, more like doing homework, chatting with my sister (earlier), surfing the web, and listening to random music on You Tube. :-D Sadly, that's usually how I ever get anything done anyway, by doing like 5 things at once! :)
I have a ton of homework this week and have done quite a few but still have quite a few left too. Blahhhh...
I'm so excited about this weekend though because we are going to....
Jacksonville, FL!!
Yay!!! We're going with our friends and it's going to be a blast! It's definitely a much needed weekend getaway!
But, like always, when I'm excited about something it seems like it's never gonna come.
Well I should get back to my homework and listen to more music!
Till next time...

Well it's my parent's 30th Anniversary today so congratulations to them!
Today's been pretty good so far. I worked on assignments for one of my classes and chatted with my sis.
My sweet husband just got back from work not long ago and made dinner. It was absolutely yummy as always!
He's currently watching King of the Hill while I'm here typing up this blog.
I also got in the make up I ordered recently in the mail so that definitely put a smile on my face! :)
Well, other than that, we just gotta go buy some necessities tonight then back home to relax.
Till next time! @-->-->

| Chapter XX |
Well the weekend flew by insanely fast, which is disappointing but happens almost everytime. It didn't help that he had duty on Sunday which sucked the day right out like it didn't even exist.
Friday was rather uneventful but we had a great time just relaxing and hanging out at the house.
Saturday we went to see my friend and her boyfriend who came down to Savannah for a soccer game of his. We had a great time!! Grabbed dinner at Dockside seafood on River Street. It was yummy!
I have not been sleeping much lately and my whole sleep schedule is way off..once again...Ugh! I'm not stressing about it too much I guess because while it's definitely nice to wake up early, it really is not that big of a deal how I schedule my days because as long as I end up doing all I need to do, I'm good to go. I don't have any physical places I "need" to be on any given day I guess so it works out.
It's almost St. Patty's Day! :-D I'm excited. I don't even know if we're planning anything for the wkend prior to it but we'll have fun anyhow I'm sure. It falls on a wkday though so the parade idea is off.
Well, I'm gonna try wrapping it up on here and attempt some sleepy time.

|| Chapter XIX ||
Well once again it's been about a year since I last posted. Here are some of the highlights since my last post:
** March 08: Randy and I bought a rabbit named Herman from a retired Marine.
** April 08: Got married to Randy on April 26, 2008 in Somerset, KY and honeymooned in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN.
Saw my sister, cousin, two of my aunts, and one of my best friends which made me even happier.
** May 08: My 24th birthday was wonderful
** July 08: Went back to Kentucky for the 4th of July weekend and Randy's grandfather's funeral (May he rest in peace).
Vacationed in Myrtle Beach, SC with my in-laws and had a great time.
Enjoyed seeing Randy's mom and sisters and friends when they came down to visit.
** Oct 08: Went to the Halloween party for his work. Also went to Greenville, SC and met up with friends for the Halloween weekend.
** Nov 08: Attended 233rd Marine Corp Ball and had an elegant pink gown. Also went back to Kentucky for Thanksgiving.
** Dec 08: Went home for Christmas and had a great time, as always! Celebrated New Year's at our friend's house.
** Jan 09: Set some new resolutions for myself as well as for Randy and I and have been doing well at sticking to them.
Had a wonderful time seeing my mother in law when she visted for the weekend.
** Feb 09: Had an amazing Valentine's weekend getaway in Savannah, GA with my sweet husband. Ate Valentine's Day dinner at Elizabeth & 37th.
Went to a Gun Show in Charleston, SC.
So needless to say I am loving my life and spending every wonderful minute with my husband.
I have big plans for the coming months including a couple's trip with my friend and her husband to Sea World as well as a camping trip.
Also have plans to go to the beach as much as I can and soak it all up before we leave.
